Model making(Techniques for water conservation In Japan & India)

 

Water conservation includes all the Policies, Strategies and activities to sustainably manage the natural resource of fresh water, to protect the hydrosphere and to meet the current and future human demand. Keeping in mind this important concept for future generation, students of class VI prepared models to show techniques use for water conservation in Japan and India

    In life "Knowing how: is just as important as "knowing that'. Art & Craft introduces students to a range of intellectual and practical skills. So students of Class XI of Sunrise International School exhibited their research work to show the flora found in India & Nepal. With their display of creative craft work , they enhanced the beauty of their surrounding and at the same time spread a very strong message to the society i.e Go Green and save Earth.

        Visit to National Zoological Park

        Zoo is a place where we can see different animals and birds at one place. It has great attraction particularly for the Children. A visit to zoo gives us both information and entertainment. To gather the information of wild animals students of class IV and V visited National Zoological Park, New Delhi. Students were exhilarated while gathering the information about animals for their ISA Project..

          World Animal Day is an international day of action for animal rights and welfare celebrated annually on Oct 4. To raise the status around the globe Sunrisians celebrated World Animal Day in the form of Special Assembly and showcased their talent by characterizing themselves as wild animals of South Africa and India in the form of Skit, Dance etc.

            ISA-Demystifying Myths: SriLanka & India

            Students of class VIII of SIS participated in debate competition under the British Council -ISA project-  Demystifying Myths: Research creates new information . They put their views forward before the class with their justification about the myths prevalent in India & SriLanka. This activity gave the students a platform to confidently present themselves and boosted their morale.
